NDIS Announcement: Role of Government Under the NDIS

Introduction

The ACT Government has announced that it will be gradually withdrawing from the direct provision of services for people with disability by the end of June 2017

The ACT Government has announced that it will be gradually withdrawing from the direct provision of services for people with            disability by the end of June 2017. The Government has taken the    decision to withdraw from the provision of specialist disability         supported accommodation by the end of June 2017 and therapy      services by December 2016. The withdrawal from early intervention services  provided by the Education and Training Directorate will be completed by December 2014 and therapy services will be completed by December 2016
